Dr Khalid Anis MBE BDS DDPHRCS MSc FFPH MBA

An award winning senior clinician with extensive experience across the breadth of dentistry and aesthetics.

Dr Khalid Anis is an award winning general dental practitioner and a Facial Aesthetic Practitioner with extensive experience across all segments of dentistry. He has several years experience in facial aesthetics as well as the role that, skincare, diet and supplements can impact the ageing process.

He previously worked as a clinical director of dentistry and a consultant in public health. He has acted as an advisor to the Department of Health on a number of dentistry related issues. Dr Anis has lectured extensively around the world and has helped in disaster management abroad. His teaching skills have led him previously to work as a Clinical Lecturer and the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) and as an Educational Supervisor, training young foundation dentists to work in a general practice environment. He is also a keen mentor to aspiring dentists.

Dr Anis has built a reputation as an experienced, high quality, ethical and caring clinician.

Khalid also has extensive experience of public relations and media engagement. Khalid was the Director of a public relations organisation called CitrusMango! Khalid also has expertise in large scale project management and delivery.

In his spare time Khalid has been a junior hockey and cricket coach and loves being an amateur photographer.

Dr. Hatahet is a dentist with a special interest in orthodontics, who has over 20 years of experience straightening patient’s teeth and giving them smiles to be proud of. He is very popular amongst our staff and patients alike.
Basil is a member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Basil provides a wide range of Orthodontic services including conventional fixed, clear and lingual (incognito) braces and also six-month smiles.

He believes that braces are for all age groups and there is no age limit for orthodontic treatment. He has successfully treated thousands of patients ranging from children to retired adults.

Faizan Zaheer is a GDC registered Specialist in Periodontology and has a Masters degree in Dental Research. He is proud to have had a number of prestigious publications in gum grafting techniques and continues his passion for research at the University of Manchester. He is a staff member teaching on the postgraduate Master’s programme in Periodontology, at the Dental Hospital, also based in Manchester.

Faizan graduated from University College Cork Dental School in 2009 having been gifted a number of undergraduate awards and scholarships, including the prestigious national “H.H. Stuart prize in Dentistry”. Since qualifying, he has engaged in a wide variety of clinical and academic experiences, working in general dental practice, general hospitals (in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery unit), as well as a University Dental Hospital setting.

Faizan takes great pride in delivering the highest level of clinical care using cutting-edge techniques, with outstanding attention to detail, in a respectful and caring manner. Faizan is eager to build strong relations with his patients and is held in high regard by his dental colleagues.

He is highly experienced and has a particular interest in Oral Surgery since he completed a Masters at Manchester University. More recently he was working in Abu Dhabi in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery working extensively with dental implants. He also enjoys smile makeovers and is noted for helping to treat nervous patients and he offers sedation when required.

His ethos is to put the patient’s needs first and to develop a long-term strategy with them for their oral maintenance and stability. He is friendly and relaxed and has an excellent chairside manner.
